PHARMACARE LIMITED (PCL) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jack Chia Industries (Thailand) Public Company Limited (JCT), a listed company in the Stock Exchange of Thailand. PCL was established in 1987 as a joint venture business between JCT and Smith & Nephew PLC (SN) of the United Kingdom. A Board-of-Investment-promoted company, PCL is located in Ladkrabang Industrial Estate and manufactures first aid dressings (plasters) and zinc oxide tapes under license from Smith & Nephew PLC (SN) as well as undertaking contract manufacturing of private labels.

        In 1994, JCT bought out Smith & Nephew PLC (SN)'s shareholding of PCL and remains as a licensee of Smith & Nephew PLC (SN). Registered capital was increased from 30 million Baht to 120 million Baht, fully paid-up.

        In 2011 the Trade Marks licencing was changed from Smith & Nephew PLC (SN) to BSN Medical GMBH.

        Pharmacare is certified by the Thai FDA and conforms to the strict WHO's GMP standards. The company also achieved ISO 9001:2008, ISO 13485:2003 and CE certifications in September, 2008. Pharmacare's products are well-known for their highest qualities.
